Bad Lip Syncing Project
The bad lip syncing project in our multimedia class where we took pre-existing videos and their audio's and ,as a group with one other person, re-did them in real life. the project was given about two and a half weeks to be fully completed and all of the videos where showcased for our whole class to see. me and my partner originally wanted to do the song "Be Prepared" but because of timing and how long the project would have taken, we flipped halfway through to a piece of audio from the spongebob movie generally called "Baby Hunt". we were also given the option to make a 30 second Ad for 2 extra credit points. the Ad followed the same rules as the original bad lip syncing video, the only difference being that it needed to be a pre existing Ad. me and a group of two others reanimated a Mr. Clean Ad over the span of 3 days.
From this project I learned how to use the program Final Cut Pro as well as learning how to sync audio. the project was to be edited in Final Cut Pro, and me being the editor, forced me to learn the program, which I now understand rather well. from what you can see in the title of this project, it was based around lip syncing, so of course we not only learned how to lip sync to audio, but also how to edit audio to match if the lip sync is slightly off, you can see some of the parts that where slowed down to match the audio , of course this wasn't actually a preferable recording, it was to complicated to reshoot it.

Self Portrait Project
For this project we were tasked to trace a picture of ourselves in adobe illustrator to learn how to use it for a future project(renaissance project). there where some extra options offered to us as well such as making the piece monokrome, adding small details you feel are personal to ourselves, etc.
though I do not particularly like the outcome of this, it was one of the first projects we did in multimedia, and as such, I believe it helps show how far I have come in this class, and as an artist. I did not like Adobe illustrator, though, throwing myself into it like we did helped me not immediately drop photoshop when I tried it, which I am now very comfortable using.

ARenaissance Project
The Renaissance project is supposed to be a project in which we make a book with renaissance paintings that you can hold your phone up to and see a video play over it. first we where to pair up in to groups of two, as these groups of two we would pick a Renaissance painting do research on, then one of us would do a video on it and the other would re-create the renaissance painting as a modern art piece. After the partners finish their designated parts, the video maker makes a much shorter video on the art piece of the artist creates the design for the two pages of the book.
Me and my partner chose the painting Saint Jerome in The Wilderness. I was the graphic artist of the project meaning I was the one to redesign the painting as a modern art piece. For this project I went out of my comfort zone and used photoshop for the first time and like stated in my selfie project I am now comfortable using it. I also ended up animating my art piece as a GIF to make it just a little bit more unique and special and standout a little bit more. in all i am rather happy with the products of this project and glad to have the ability to use photoshop now.

Choice Project
In this project we the students decided on our own multimedia related project and finish it over the course of three weeks, such as making a movie trailer or printing a 3d object. For my project I worked on an application for a summer program called Csssa. The Application required 3 prompted pictures, two written prompts and a short animation. with the help of my teacher, I planned out what I was going to do for all of them, finished the first prompted picture, which was to paint what you think makes you unique, got about 300 frames in to my 720 framed animation, and finished the rough drafts for both the written prompts. I have continued to work on my application past the time of the Choice Project and plan to finish my application with the utmost care and precision to the best of my ability.
In my project I focused on my digital painting style trying to give it a bit more of a unique style, such as having exaggerated color splotches and using that to put more focus on joints, while still trying to have it retain a cartoony nature. I feel like I was successfully able to develop my painting style more and have since then been more comfortable digitally painting.
